Hours: 20 hours per week
Contract: Part-time, contract-based with the opportunity to expand to more hours in the future.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Activity Coordinator (MBO-level, Social Pedagogical Work).

​ 

What you will do

This is a versatile role where you will guide youth in shaping their own activities, while also being the point of contact for our volunteers.
 Organize activities that encourage young people to express themselves through projects.

• Plan and organize community service initiatives together with youth.

• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where youth feel free to share ideas.

• Support school-based activities, workshops, and after-school programs

• Recruit, onboard and support volunteers.

• Create the monthly volunteer schedule/roster.

• Organize fun and engaging team-building and social activities.

• Recognize and appreciate the efforts of volunteers through creative initiatives and community-building.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and knows how to build a warm and engaged volunteer community.

• You have an MBO diploma in Social Pedagogical Work (SPW) or a similar field.

• You have experience in guiding groups of young people (ages 13–24), or you are highly motivated to gain this experience.

• You are young(-minded) and able to create a buddy connection with youth.

• You are fluent in Papiamento, English, and Dutch.

• You are well-organized and able to plan and structure activities and projects.

• You are a strong communicator and can motivate and inspire both youth and volunteers.

• You are creative in organizing activities and strengthening group spirit.

• You work well independently but also thrive in a team setting.
